The Ojai Valley Inn Uses 30 percent of all the Drinking Water in Ojai.
That's 300 acre feet of water according to the Ojai Valley Sanitary District. Have you Seen the House of Jaberwocky? It's All Make Believe. Ojai's Charles Dickens Street Urchins, the Mayor, Stix has Cultivated, playing in the Street? Complaining? They don't have to be convinced - they don't Deserve Anything? Little Houses? Limited Bicycle Transportation? They Should have Mansions for just $600, their Mayor has told them. And the Mayor's Made Them MAD, Mad as MAD HATTERS.
All Those In NEED, Need Apply for the Job. Just Sit outside the Rainbow Bridge for that OJAI POT OF GOLD, as though it were the SPANISH RIVIERA, have their BENEFICIAL Soy Latte... Convincing us? We can't build Because NO WATER.... The Water District Cut the Line off after the 1985 Ojai Fire. You do remember THAT Fire, Don't You? They Said it was to Recharge the debris field, Said another FIRE AND WATER ESCAPADE would Swamp recharging area cut, yup, so they cut that recharging line. Matilija, upper ojai.... We have No water? Ojai's Clay Soil is LEGENDARY? Every Try to Dig IT? With Ojai's clay soil, water won't go in, Won't Penetrate to the Aquifir. Are You Crying Yet? You Should Be. The CITY of OXNARD gets Sales Tax 8 to 9 percent and the Gas Stations AND Wear and Tear, Help You Get There. They're Getting OJAI MONEY, Bigtime. If We raise our Sales Tax just 1 percent we Get 1.7 Million Annually. What Will That Do for Ojai? The Streets are a Mess. We're a Whore used by a Horde of Out of Town Tourists. They beat up our roads, litter our Sidewalks, and Flip us the Bird as they FLIP a U-TURN Out of the Valley. They leave, getting a REAL discount in their WEEKEND OF JOY. A Million visitors annually visit the Valley. A Million. One percent is the Hotel Tax Rate, just 1%.
Five Percent more on the hotels would be the GOING RATE. Why are the Hotels Fleecing Ojai? And Ojai's Dope Tax means JUST $300,000 Tax Revenue..... just 3 percent for THAT Revenue? Gross Dope Sales Equals Ten Million Dollars, That's three people selling Dope for ten million they GROSS? THAT'S GROSS. They're Grossing ten million, we're only getting 300,000? Got it? That Ten Million Split up between just Three Businesses, because. CBD's.... Medicine... Blah Blah.... The City Council Says their Policy will Stop Black Market Pot Sales. It WON'T. OPIUM DENS DID WORSE.
The Black Market for... Lake Casitas is Drying up. There are Approximately 7,500 Ojai Residents. How many employees Work at the Ojai Valley Inn? Only 156
If you can think of any reason we wouldn’t want to manage our Ojai water, Recycle a 308 Room Ojai Valley Inn, which would then have enough waste water to water the golf course and the 220 acre Campus, let me know. Ojai Flow Fought the Good Fight, Ensuring Water Security for Ojai. Now We're Getting New Pipes and have Control Locally via the Elected Casitas Water Board. So, Why is Water such a Contentious Issue in Ojai? Why Doesn't the Ojai Valley INN Recycle Millions of Gallons of Water?
I have been asked this Question Dozens and Dozens of Times, and have been Surprised that the Majority of People Think THE INN Actually Recycles!
Now, the Golf Course draws its water from the Lake, Casitas, it Draws its water for the INN, HOTEL, and the rest of the Campus from the BASIN AQUAFIR, Neither DRAINING THE LAKE, for the INN and HOTEL Are Healthy for the Condition of This Valley.

"Why Won’t Mayor Betsy Ask the Inn to Recycle their Waste Water?”
Because, If the Inn Recycled Water (Who is Wasting more than enough water for a Thousand Residents), SHE (our mayor) would LOSE HER TOOL to Inflict her ELITISM on the Community. The OUTSIDER MAYOR STIX and Her CANDIDATE CRONIES have INFUSED the Electorate Minions with the Rhetoric of “RESISTANCE” while DENYING the VERY Projects, whose BENEFITS, Most in Need would Realize - The Stix Campaign Raiders are the MOST VERBOSE in their Actions AGAINST Water Conservation, Most Verbose.

She would have to Just STATE, “We Don’t Want Those Kinds of People...”

Stix Main Resistance IS Water because, by SHOUTING "We Have No Water. We Have No Water," She Can PREVENT Sensible Building for the AFFORDABLE Crowd. They think she's doing them a favor by Voting "NO," and Doing NOTHING.
WE have Plenty of Water, Especially if the Inn Would Recycle.
IT is much easier for Mayor Stix to say instead of Water Conservation that I am Gangplanker? But Who is the Roadblocker, the NIMBY in Ojai, than to act sensibly. She Really wants Ojai for the ELITE, No Section 8 Housing Imported to Ojai. Why Else would she be COURTING Outside Getty Money (look here) and Outside Getty Monies to Sue Us if we don't GO AWAY AND DRY UP? (Here), 82 Percent of her Campaign Donations are from OUTSIDE Ojai’s City Limits, with Most of that being from Out of State. Stix' REAL POLITICAL PLATFORM is to Flush Ojai down the toilet for her Elite Outside Friends.
Now Betsy Stix can say we don’t have enough water for the POOR, the LESS FORTUNATE, the WORKING CLASS Residents, the RENTERS, the SECTION 8 RECIPIENTS, the Seniors, the FIXED INCOME RETIREES, the GRADUATES of NORDHOFF HIGH, and She would have to Just STATE, “We Don’t Want Those Kinds of People,” like a Few of our Past Mayors have stated! If Mayor Stix was for Water, she would have “Taliban Tom Francis” Get an Initiative and Make it Mandatory for all Hotels with Golf Courses to Only Use Greywater for the Golf Course and All VEGETATION Watering, Except for the EDIBLES they grow on Campus.
Remember, Don’t Water the Law with “The Last Gallon of Water from Lake Casitas.”
How Soon will the LAST INN GUEST, Flush the Last Gallon of Water from the Lake?
